A new study suggests that some men in Malaysia may be more likely to use erectile dysfunction medication. This study was presented at the 11th Asian Sexual Medicine Conference, the annual meeting of the Association for Sexual Health and Medicine, at 1 p.m. on July 1.
The study, which included more than 300 men aged 18 to 65, was presented at the conference by Dr. A. J. Wong.
It was a double-blind, placebo-controlled, placebo-controlled, double-dose study in which participants were randomly assigned to take Viagra 100mg for 5 days or placebo. The main outcome was whether the medication had been used for more than 2 months.
The participants were split into three groups — group 1, with the treatment group given Viagra for 5 days, group 2, with the medication taken for 5 days, and group 3, with the medication taken for 5 days. The participants then completed an eight-week treatment period, which began on January 1 and ended on April 30. The participants were followed up after 6 weeks.
The results of the study indicated that participants taking Viagra had an average improvement of about 4.5 percent in their ability to achieve an erection. Viagra had a similar increase in the ability to achieve an erection to that of the placebo, and the improvements were statistically significant compared to baseline.
Although a placebo effect was noted, the study did not prove that Viagra is a better choice for treating erectile dysfunction. The study did, however, indicate that the treatment group experienced a statistically significant improvement in the ability to achieve an erection. The improvement in erection was not statistically significant, however, in a significant number of men (17.6 percent) taking Viagra compared to those not taking the medication.
This study also showed that some men in Malaysia may be more likely to use erectile dysfunction medication. This study was funded by a National Drug and Cosmetic Research Foundation grant of $1,000 from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to the University of Miami. The study is conducted by a University of Miami Research Institute (UMO) grant number 876,541.
Dr. Wong, who was not involved in the study, also shared some of the results of the study. He said:
"There is a lot of confusion about the potential efficacy and safety of sildenafil, the generic form of Viagra, in treating erectile dysfunction. The use of sildenafil, which is not approved by the FDA, is an off-label use of sildenafil. There is no strong evidence to suggest that it is superior to other PDE5 inhibitors, which are PDE5 inhibitors. There has been some debate about the potential of sildenafil to affect sexual performance. This is a very complex issue, and the question remains, is sildenafil safe to use in patients with erectile dysfunction? It is unclear if sildenafil can be safely used as an erectile dysfunction treatment in Malaysia, and its safety in patients with erectile dysfunction is not yet well established in the United States, Canada, or elsewhere."
